Another way to participate in the One Day Hike is to volunteer to support the hike.  We need people throughout the day and all along the trail to help with a variety of support activities.

Support station workers to check hikers in and assist with the food/drink. Support station locations and hours of operation are as follows:

       Old Anglers Inn 5:30 A.M.. - 7:00 A.M.; beverage stop

       Seneca  7:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M.; breakfast stop
       Edwards Ferry  9:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.; beverage stop

       Whites Ferry  10:30 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.; sandwich stop

       Monocacy  12 :00 P.M. - 5:30 P.M.; beverage stop

       Point of Rocks  1:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.; hot food stop

       Brunswick  3:00 P.M. - 9:30 P.M.; snack stop

       Bolivar Community Center  4:30 P.M. - 12:00 A.M.; hot food stop

Bike patrol to serve as sweeps and assist hikers.

Certified medical personnel -- nurses and medics to help with blisters, sore muscles and possibly diagnose and provide first aid for dehydration, hypothermia or heat exhaustion.
